The ensuing years took their family to Israel, Egypt, and Greece as well as various places in the United States. John, Carrie and the girls moved to California in 2001 and began attending Cornerstone Community Church, where she became involved in children's, youth and women's ministries. She became the Director of Children's Ministry in January 2012.

Her life verse is Hebrews 12:1-2 "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith."

Jen enjoys singing, crafting, writing, toying with graphics, and playing games with others. Her favorite verse is Romans 8:28-31 "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?"
